1. St. Petersburg state university

Abstract:

The article reveals some disadvantages related to the problems of teaching acting profession. The authors point to the unreasonable growth of theatrical universities after the disintegration of the USSR and the penetration of non-professional personnel into the teaching staff of theater schools, which contribute to the reduction of the quality of teaching acting, as well as to the reduction of hours in the educational process in specialized subjects, such as art of acting and stage speech. According to the authors, this contributes to the reduction of education in the country as a whole. The authors point to the inadmissibility of colloquialisms in the professional environment of communication and suggest to replace the jargon «memory of physical actions (MPA)» with the term «action with an imaginary object».

Keywords: K.S. Stanislavsky, personnel, acting art, scenic speech, action with an imaginary object, memory of physical actions (MPA), voice formation.
