Abstract:

The article indicates the significance of the tradition of Russian romance in modern Russian musical culture. The authors of the article rely on the research of scientists and musicians, who reveal the historical aspect of romantic music, the ways of its development and formation, listed as an example composers and performers, who turn to the genre of romance.
