Abstract:

The article discusses the use of the national and regional component in general piano lessons in order to introduce students to the cultural heritage of Kuban. The possibility of developing musical representations of students on the musical material of their native land, using elements of traditional culture is being considered. Such problems as the application of pedagogical principles in the selection of repertoire (piano) are highlighted, and a review of the collections of Kuban composers is made.
