Abstract:

The article provides a retrospective analysis of the existence and interaction of the systems of spiritual and material values of Orthodoxy and atheism. Using the example of the Kanevsky Deanery, the author examines the main stages of church-state relations in the Soviet and post-Soviet period of the twentieth century, the role of the media in promoting the ideological policy of the State in relation to the Church.
