Abstract:

In the history of the Krasnodar region, which in 2022 will celebrate its 85th anniversary, the most difficult period was the time of the Nazi occupation, as a result of which the region experienced innumerable disasters. The city of Krasnodar was extremely affected as a result of the atrocities of the enemy, as well as the air bombing of German aviation, after the liberation of the city in April-May 1943. The article, on the basis of archival documents of the Center of documentation of the latest history of the Krasnodar region, discusses some measures that could contribute to the successful defense of the city, but for a number of reasons due to the prevailing hopeless position, which remained unwilling out.
