Abstract:

The article deals with to the peculiarities of the translation of linguocultural units in the novel by Neil Gaiman «American Gods». Two existing official translations from A. Komarinets and V. Mikhailin, E. Reshetnikova are considered from the point of view of the literacy of the translation of the names of characters and cultural elements.
